Curtis Kulig – also known as “Love Me” if you follow the art of vandalism – linked up with long-time friend and collaborator Shepard Fairey for a capsule collection as part of Obey’s 2012 Spring Artist Series.

Like many graf writers, Kulig revels in simply getting up rather than bombing super intricate pieces that take days to finish and just hours for another tagger to fuck up. And if you’ve been to New York City recently, there’s no doubt you’ve seen his work… well, everywhere. Whether you’ve laid your head at Ace and The Standard Hotels, shopped the Burton and Nike stores or simply spent an evening locked up in one of the city’s finest precincts, the ubiquitous, dripping, blood-red “love me” command has likely stared you in the face like an dead hooker no matter where you turn in the Rotten Apple.
